Are you looking for a way to change the way you think? Try these incredible subconscious mind exercises listed below.

The mind is a powerful tool. Different frequencies in the brain control aspects of our daily life. There is the conscious mind which is your awareness, the things you are thinking about.

Then there’s the subconscious mind, the part of your brain that’s not in focal awareness. There has also been talk about the unconscious mind, which vaguely defines the motives and feelings in a person’s mind.

However, another term to be aware of is a preconscious mind which consists of everything that could be brought into the conscious mind.

Activate your subconscious mind with these subconscious mind exercises to help raise your vibrational frequency and create an extraordinary life for yourself full of possibilities.

    10. Affirmations − speak your actions in life into existence

Affirmations are a great powerful tool to use in our personal lives. They are positive bitesize forms of pep-talks that you give to yourself to reinforce positive deep-set beliefs in yourself.

You don’t need to dedicate chunks of time to affirmations. They can take up to five minutes each day to change the way you think.

    9. Meditation − quieten the conscious mind and allow the subconscious to come forth

Silencing the mind is one of the hardest subconscious mind exercises to master. But it is still a worthy exercise to learn.

It’s a skill that should be practised to achieve success in listening to the subconscious mind, relaxing and controlling your thoughts to make sense of the messages coming through.

    8. Give back to others − positive reinforcement for the mind

Changing the way you think doesn’t have to be all about the mind. It is also about how you help others.

Giving back to people by giving your time, money, and knowledge fill your mind with abundance. A positive act not only gives something to another person but enriches your mind too.

    7. Speak it into existence & visualise − manifesting your beliefs into reality

Manifest the things you want in life by truly believing and creating deep beliefs in those things. Something you are committed to working extremely hard on to achieve and speak into existence.

Talk as though you already have it. That way, you are using your brain power to visualise it and manifest it with your subconscious.

    6. Start a gratitude journal − reduce your self-doubting thinking through this daily practice

Self-doubting creates a negative identity learned, forming these damaging beliefs that you are not worthy. But starting a daily practice of gratitude can help you take control of life, becoming a grateful and successful person.

Everything happens for a reason, and having an appreciation for the positives does wonders for the mind.

This is one of the best subconscious mind exercises that give you additional focus time on positive thinking changing the patterns of the mind.

    5. Create your vision space − watch as those images come to life

Similarly to the visualising mentioned above, creating a vision board is a physical way of visualising your dreams.

Your mind sees exactly what you want if you focus on it every day and work hard to achieve it. Then your mind will do what it takes to help you make those dreams into a reality.

    4. Practice free handwriting − write without focusing on it

Use your brain power to do free handwriting, tapping into that energy to just do some writing. Spend some time here simply writing everything that comes to mind. Don’t force anything; simply allow the mind to just unload.

A mind dump can be a form of self-care, a way to release your anxieties and dysfunctional beliefs and set you up for a great night’s sleep or start to the day.

    3. Listen to your dreams − your subconscious is talking

Dreams are a way for your subconscious to talk to you. If you don’t listen, you’re missing out on valuable information.

To understand what your dream is telling you, you will have to keep a dream journal and write down the dream in the morning each time you have one.

You will probably find there’s a pattern to the messages, or there could be an obvious answer straight away. Just keeping listening.

    2. Try fractionation − a powerful subconscious mind exercise

Fractionation is going in and out of a state repeatedly to reach deeper levels by repeatedly breaking and then restoring contact with the person you want to influence over a period of time. This process can be done with words, eye contact, or touch.

    1. Use binaural beats − to biohack your stream of consciousness

Binaural beats involve playing two tones at different frequencies to induce certain states of mind.

It’s been proven that subconscious minds absorb information better when we are in a relaxed state, so you can use binaural beats to trigger alpha-frequency brainwaves. Then reprogram your mind and how you think through the power of music.

    Other notable mentions

A master plan: Identify your core values, motivations, and goals helping to make decisions for the long term that align with your true self.

Set smart goals: When you want to achieve something, a measurable goal is so much easier to track progress on.

    FAQs about subconscious mind exercises

Is the subconscious mind active at night?

In short, yes. The subconscious mind is active during the night. The subconscious controls all of your vital functions, so it never sleeps. When you enter a deep sleep, the conscious mind becomes dormant, and the unconscious stays fully awake.

Does the subconscious mind really work?

Over 95 per cent of the brain cell activity is through the subconscious. So yes, it does work, as the majority of the actions, emotions and behaviours are all powered through the unconscious mind.

    What triggers the subconscious mind?

Thinking triggers your subconscious mind. If you think you can do something, you can. If you think you can’t, then you can’t. It’s all in the heavy-duty thinking your brain does, and your subconscious lives off your energy.

Certain things in your daily life can trigger feelings, thoughts and memories. For example, you might smell a certain scent that will trigger the subconscious, and it will evoke a childhood memory.
