Let us bring you some inspiration and joy with the ranking of the most inspiring sportspeople of all time.

To inspire means to fill someone with the urge or ability to do or feel something. These ten sportspeople listed below have either done something incredible, faced some challenge, or inspired a generation through sport.

There have been many sportspeople throughout history, and they are watched and considered a celebrity by the masses because of their sport.

But some use their status to influence and inspire others, whether through social justice action or just inspiring people from marginalised backgrounds to work for their dreams.

The most inspiring sportspeople of all time below are some of the most admired and successful athletes in their sport.

    10. Magic Johnson – one of the best players to ever play as a point guard

Johnson tested positive for HIV and had to put his basketball career and life on hold to focus on his health.

However, since his career ended, he didn’t step away from the spotlight. He has instead become a strong advocate of AIDS awareness and continues to inspire the masses about this awful disease that affects so many in this world.
