We truly have arrived in the future. With the rise in smart home technologies in recent years, we are always excited to see the next big thing.

CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2023 has shown the public some significant advancements in hi-tech homes to expect this year.

With that, we have decided to give an overview of some of the most exciting developments on the horizon, as showcased at the influential technology event. We are excited about everything on this list, and we’re sure you will be too.

    5. Bird Buddy – a new-age way to birdwatch

If you like birdwatching, then the Bird Buddy is the bird feeder you need in your life.

This feeder comes with a high-spec camera and motion sensor, which alerts you when a feathered guest comes to visit. The camera will ensure you can snap many photos and videos of every bird that comes for a nibble in your yard.

Not only that, but the app recognises each bird for you through artificial intelligence, which can identify up to 1,000 species.

    4. LG MoodUp Refrigerator – a new way to set your mood

Anyone who loved mood rings as a child will be all over LGs MoodUp Refrigerator. The MoodUp door is kitted with LED panels that you can change to suit any mood or style. The refrigerator syncs to the LG ThinQ app, so a change is only a tap away.

Why not change the colour to suit the seasons? You could even change it daily to suit your outfit. The possibilities are endless with this new way to furnish your hi-tech home.

The LG MoodUp fridge also comes equipped with Bluetooth speakers so you can bop around to your favourite songs while cooking up your Sunday roast. It is yet to be determined when this product will be launched for public sale.

    3. LG PuriCare Aero Furniture – cleanse your air with this trendy purifier: one of the most exciting advancements for hi-tech homes

Let’s face it; air purifiers can be ugly and cumbersome – however, this is one with a difference. The LG PuriCare Aero Furniture aims to ensure your home is fresh and free from all airborne allergens while concealing that it’s an air purifier.

The Aero Furniture comes installed with various mood lighting to add a sense of ambience to any space, making for an elegant and fashionable side table.

It even has a built-in wireless charger to charge your phone. It is unknown when this product will become available, but we will keep our eyes on it.

    2. Chillax Thermo AI – an intelligent baby monitor that goes above and beyond

The Chillax Thermo AI is the must-have baby device for any prospective parents. This model can scan the baby’s face and detect whether they are in an incorrect sleeping position or if their face is covered.

It can also check your baby’s core body temperature and even check if the temperature in the diaper and indicate if your little one needs a change.

This device will be any parent’s best friend and will be launched soon.

    1. Enabot EBO X – a little robot assistant for your home

We are beyond excited for the Enabot EBO X. We were amazed when we found out just how much this cute little guy could do.

The EBO X can roam around your house as a monitor, ensuring everything is safe with its 4k camera. You can control the bot remotely or set it up to auto-cruise.

It has facial recognition, allowing it to recognise each family member. It can alert people if you have taken a fall and even when your baby is crying.

Equipped with a speaker and microphone, it allows for two-way communication to speak to family members. Also furnished with Alexa, you can request your favourite songs to play as it follows you.

It truly is the robot butler we all deserve and our favourite advancement in hi-tech homes for this upcoming year. Expect to see the EBO X in homes across the world very soon.
