Formula 1 and Sky Group will work together to co-produce what will be the first-ever F1 show specifically for children at this year’s Formula 1 Qatar Airways Hungarian Grand Prix 2023.
As part of their attempt to produce a Formula 1 broadcast for children, the production will create a dedicated International Feed.
This will incorporate the use of bespoke graphics, special features, sound effects and even 3D augmented graphics for specific camera angles.
All of this will enhance the viewing experience for younger audiences in both the UK and Germany.

Formula 1 – a sport which has grown in popularity in recent years

Formula 1 is a sport which, while has always been quite popular, has exploded in popularity in recent years. This is thanks to it being launched into the mainstream with the hit Netflix series Drive to Survive.
The show has developed quite a cult following in recent years, especially with a young demographic.
Jenson Button, former F1 World Champion and Sky F1 Presenter said of the prospect, “We are really excited about giving the next generation of F1 fans a platform to show their passion and excitement for the sport as F1 continues to grow in popularity amongst younger audiences.
“We may just find our next Crofty or Naomi Schiff!”.
