Whether it’s our own Christmas tree or our favourite shops hanging up their festive decorations, there’s nothing as warming as seeing glimmering lights brightening up our streets and homes.
Twinkling lights hanging above our heads and beautifully decorated pine trees really do transform the place into a winter wonderland.
9. Snacks, chocolate, and drinks galore ‒ a day of indulgence
Now, it wouldn’t be Christmas if we didn’t enjoy a Terry’s Chocolate Orange, Bailey’s hot chocolate, and baked camembert with cranberry sauce, would it?
We think not. For us, one of the best things about Christmas is the abundance of drinks, chocolates, and festive snacks. No matter how old we get, we will ALWAYS get a chocolate advent calendar to count down the run-up to the big day.

Now, it’s a constant debate about when is an acceptable date to start playing Christmas music. Some will say 1 December, while others will say later and others earlier.
No matter your thoughts, none of us can deny that we love to sing along when our favourite Christmas song comes on.

A huge global phenomenon in recent years, Christmas markets have become somewhat of a tradition in recent years, with many travelling to major cities just to visit for themselves.
